In this section I placed a selection of the best video fragments I recorded, mostly of lightning but also some time-lapses of clouds and the May 29th 2001 tornado. Time-lapse movies show clouds in a "fast-forward" way, so that their changing shapes are more easily seen. They have been taken with a Sony Hi-8 camcorder.
You can also view a slow-motion animation of a lightning strike with an explanation of the processes that take place during the strike.
